About Us

A considered approach to natural luxury
Lacorine was founded with a simple belief: that true luxury begins with material, respects the hands that craft it, and endures beyond a single season.
Working closely with skilled artisans in Peru, we create refined apparel and accessories using alpaca and other natural fibres, chosen for their softness, warmth, and longevity. Each piece is designed with restraint — shaped by function, texture, and an appreciation for quiet detail.

Crafted in Peru
Peru is home to some of the world’s finest alpaca fibre and a deep-rooted tradition of textile craftsmanship. Our pieces are made in collaboration with artisan communities whose knowledge has been passed down through generations.
By combining heritage techniques with contemporary design, we aim to honour this craftsmanship while creating garments suited to modern life — pieces that feel timeless rather than trend-led.

Responsible by Design
We work with small, family-run workshops and cooperatives that prioritise fair working conditions, skilled labour, and responsible sourcing. Our approach is built on transparency, mutual respect, and long-term relationships rather than volume-driven production.
As a member of BAFTS Fair Trade Network UK, Lacorine supports fair trade principles that promote ethical collaboration and accountability throughout the supply chain.
Alpaca fibre is a natural, renewable material, sourced with care for both the animals and the environment. Its durability and performance allow us to design fewer pieces — made to be worn, valued, and kept for years.

Designed for Longevity
At Lacorine, longevity is central to every decision — from fibre selection to finishing details. We favour natural materials, considered construction, and timeless silhouettes that move quietly through seasons.
Rather than following trends, our collections are shaped by enduring principles: quality, craftsmanship, and restraint.
Looking Forward
As Lacorine evolves, our commitment remains the same — to create thoughtful pieces that respect their origin, support traditional skills, and offer a more considered alternative to fast fashion.
Each garment reflects not only where it was made, but how — and why.
