A natural fibre shaped by place and climate

Alpaca fibre has been valued for centuries for its softness, warmth and durability. It comes from the high Andes, where the animals have adapted to extreme conditions, and those qualities carry straight into the garments: refined, hard-wearing and comfortable.

Softness Without Weight

Alpaca fibres are hollow at the core, which gives natural insulation without bulk. Warmth is held close to the body while the garment stays light, so the same piece feels balanced across seasons.

The fibre's naturally smooth surface gives alpaca its distinctive softness, often compared to cashmere, while it stands up to wear for longer.

Breathable and Thermoregulating

Unlike many synthetic or blended fibres, alpaca regulates temperature naturally. It responds to the body, helping you stay comfortable as conditions change through the day.

That makes it well suited to layering and to everyday wear, adapting quietly rather than overheating.

Where it comes from
