A feather-light wrap of baby alpaca and silk for every season.
The Signature Pashmina brings warmth to the shoulders on a cool evening and a soft sheen to whatever is worn beneath it. Baby alpaca gives it warmth and softness, and silk adds a gentle lustre and a fluid drape. Woven in Peru, it is 70 cm by 200 cm and weighs only 110 grams, so it can be draped over the shoulders, wrapped twice at the neck or worn long as a stole.
It sits as well over a summer dress on a breezy evening as under a winter coat, and folds small enough to live in a handbag all year.
Baby alpaca is the fleece from an adolescent alpaca's very first shearing, and it is prized because these are the softest fibres an alpaca ever produces. Alpaca is gentle next to the skin, and many people who find wool itchy wear alpaca comfortably.

UK Delivery
Standard delivery to UK mainland addresses is free on every order. Parcels go by Royal Mail Tracked 48 and must be signed for on arrival. Next Day Delivery is available for £9 and can be selected at checkout.
Dispatch
Weekday orders placed before 3pm UK time are dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 3pm, or at the weekend, are dispatched on the next working day. Orders placed on a bank holiday are dispatched within two working days of the holiday.
International Delivery
We deliver worldwide, and the delivery charge for each country is shown at checkout before payment. International orders are sent without import duties or taxes paid, so any customs charges, import taxes or handling fees in the destination country are payable by the recipient on delivery.
Made to Order
Many Lacorine pieces are made in small numbers and colours, and some take considerable time to make. If an item is out of stock, we can usually make it to order. Production times vary, so we will contact you with an estimated dispatch date before going ahead.

Changing your mind
You can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day you receive it. Tell us by email at info@lacorine.co.uk or by phone on 020 8777 7534, then send the goods back to us within 14 days of telling us.
You can try an item on as you would in a shop to decide whether to keep it. If it has been worn or handled more than that, for example worn outdoors or washed, we may reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value. Please return items with their labels still attached where possible.
We do not offer exchanges. If you would like a different size or colour, please return the original for a refund and place a new order.
Your refund
We refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of receiving proof that you have sent them, whichever is sooner. The refund goes back to the payment method you used. If you return your whole order, we also refund the cost of standard delivery. If you chose a more expensive delivery option, such as Next Day Delivery, we refund only the cost of our standard delivery.
Unless an item is faulty, the cost of sending it back to us is yours. We recommend a tracked service, as returns remain your responsibility until they reach us.
If an order used a discount or offer that depended on its total, and a return takes the order below that total, the refund is adjusted to reflect the offer no longer applying.
Faulty or incorrect items
If something arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact us as soon as you can. You can reject a faulty item for a full refund within 30 days of receiving it, and after that you are entitled to a repair or replacement, or a refund if that is not possible. We cover the cost of returning faulty items. None of this affects your statutory rights.
Gifts
Gifts can be returned by the recipient within the same 14 days. Refunds for gifts are made to the original purchaser.

Our fair trade principles
Lacorine works directly with communities of alpaca herders and skilled makers in the Peruvian Andes. Together we design, make and sell alpaca garments and accessories of the highest quality, drawing on Peruvian textile traditions. The alpacas come first: they are shorn, never harmed, and our fur comes only from animals lost to the hard Andean winters. Our work supports sustainable alpaca farming, so these traditions carry on with the next generation of herders and makers.
We are members of BAFTS, the British Association for Fair Trade Shops and Suppliers, a network of independent shops and suppliers promoting fair trade retail in the UK. We pay fairly and work to fair conditions with everyone who makes our products.

To preserve the natural qualities of alpaca, we recommend gentle hand washing or professional dry cleaning. Store folded to maintain shape and texture. With considered care, alpaca fibres improve with wear over time.
