Lacorine, the celebrated alpaca clothing and luxury accessories brand, is delighted to announce its attendance at two events in Hampstead this Summer – Big Fair 2023 at Hampstead Summer Festival and The Sunday Artisan Market.
Lacorine is excited to contribute to the magic of these two fairs with its unique, sustainable, and luxuriously handcrafted products as this beloved event returns after a three-year hiatus.
For the first time in three years, the Hampstead Summer Festival, which takes place on Sunday, 2nd July, will see Heath Street transform into an enchanting bazaar. Over 100 stalls will be brimming with artisan crafts, designer fashions, and delectable food and drink from around the world. The festivities include live music, a funfair and a children’s circus school. Entry to this community event is free.
Just a week prior, on Sunday, 25th June, Lacorine will also be partaking in the Sunday Artisan Market at the Hampstead Community Centre. The market champions independent designers and makers, providing an ideal platform for Lacorine to showcase its luxurious and sustainably crafted products. With a variety of quality artisan and independent stalls, the market offers an opportunity for attendees to pick up original artwork, clothing, ceramics, accessories, prints, and more. Complementing the shopping experience, the market cafe will offer delicious cakes and drinks for eager shoppers.
Lacorine prides itself on its commitment to the sustainable development of natural materials, keeping traditional Peruvian artistry alive. The company’s dedication to heritage and sustainability is mirrored in its beautiful range of alpaca furs and knits.
“We are excited to showcase our collection at the Big Fair 2023 and Artisan Market, where the emphasis on artisan craft aligns perfectly with our ethos,” said Antonia, the founder of Lacorine. “Each Lacorine piece encapsulates a rich cultural heritage, preserving traditional techniques while presenting a modern twist on sustainable luxury.”
As summer blooms, Lacorine’s best-selling Panama Hats become the talk of the town. Meticulously handcrafted by expert artisans from Ecuador and finished with an unmistakable Lacorine touch in their London design studio. These hats are a blend of fashion and tradition. Their diamond-patterned weave creates a lightweight and breathable hat, and with a wide brim to shield the sun, these hats have earned their spot as a summer essential.
“Our Panama hats are not just about style; they encapsulate a story of tradition, sustainability, and craftsmanship. This, combined with their practicality in the summer months, is why they continue to be a best-seller every season,” added Antonia.
Lacorine looks forward to meeting new and loyal customers at the Big Fair 2023 and The Sunday Artisan Market.
